The Killer Whales travelled to Penguin Park in Pambula where the reserves took centre stage first in the senior competition and battling to a convincing 3-0 win over their hosts.
Later in the afternoon, the all-age women's side had a weight of possession, but struggled to finish their scoring opportunities to secure a 2-1 result.
In the men's clash, the Killer Whales looked strong from the outset with a solid passing game out of the backlines setting play in motion through the middle.
Riley Donaldson took charge of a good portion of play making advances out of the middle up the left wing for the Eden club to set up a number of their striking opportunities.
However, the Penguins were working well out of the backs and many shots at goal were denied by some good saves out of the Pambula keeper or earlier turned away by clearance shots from the Pambula back line.
Nick Gough was working hard in the back row and helped set up some counter attacks for the hosts with the Penguins looking strong on their own left wing to make a number of runs up the field.
However, the Killer Whales worked back really well and were able to flood the zone with defending players when the Penguins threatened.
Club officials said the team had started to gel really well and the results were telling over the weekend.
"The boys are starting to form some great combinations and playing well together as a team with the hard work at training starting to pay off on the field," the club shared on social media.
Despite the good defensive effort from the Penguins, the weight of opportunities began to show some cracks as some good shots on goal hit the mark as they curled into the back of the net.
The Killer Whales kept up the pressure in the second half and found a further two scoring options to take the result.
The women's clash had the visitors controlling a lion's share of the ball, but the Penguins were stoic in defence to limit Eden to just the two goals on the day.
Young gun Charli Mitchell was up to her usual antics with some fancy footwork providing plenty of forward motion for the Killer Whales with strong support from Deb Heron and Kamilla Grubesic out of the middle.
"Our Ladies team dominated possession but just couldn't finish when it counted," the club said.
The win for the reserves has provided them the first result for the season and lifted the club to fifth on the table, while the Killer Whales ladies squad keeps hold of first on the leaderboard with a three point advantage from their nearest rivals.
The competition will have a bye this weekend with the next round seeing Eden play host to Wolumla and Tathra.
