Darren Griffin had a good day earlier this month to win the Eden men's golf monthly medal with a net 68 closely followed by Peter Gurbesic on 69.

B graders also had some good scores with Peter Cranston carding a 68 and Michael Sheppard on 71. Scott Thornton had a 76 of the stick to be the lowest gross round. Susan Kelly picked up the golden shot.
The momen's monthly medal was Sponsored by Janice Davidson and Erica Hansen. Yvonne Perriman had another good round winning with a net 68. Jude Bailey was second with 69.
The course was very wet during Saturday's round and low scoring reflected the difficult conditions.
Erica Hansen won the day for the women with 32 points and Nicky Jarvis had 30 points to come second. The men also struggled with Darren Gordon the winner with 38 points and Rod Boyd on 36. The Golden Shot winner was Peter Gordon with a good shot on the 18th.
Saturday's event for the men is stableford and the women will play a par.
