Both the Seniors and Division two teams were soundly defeated on the day with Darren Griffith being the only clear winner.
Officials said it was a sad ending for the season, but a few new players were blooded and now already looking forward to next year.
The club congratulates both teams for getting to the grand final.
On the course at home, the club missed one competition day with the recent downpours, but players were quickly back out doing battle with the course. Mark Davidson and Jude Bailey won a Tuesday competition Mark on 40 points and Jude with 34.
Saturday's winners recently were Shiralee Nichols winning on the 27 of March also taking out the Golden Shot. A good day for Shiralee. Neville Simpson had a round of 42 points to win A grade and Michael Sandling had 33 to take out B grade.
Last Saturday was a great day for golf and a good field turned up to enjoy the weather. Janice Davidson had 37 to win the Women's competition with balls to 29 points. Lou Ristanovic was a clear winner in the Men's group with 40 points in A grads. Jim Chenhall took out B grade on 35 points while Keith Perriman won the Golden shot.
Dads Army has missed a few Sundays because of weather but were back out last Sunday. Recent winners of the Wednesday 9 hole competitions were Graham Gray, Greg Bolton, and Janice Davidson.
Saturday's event will be stroke for both men and women.
