Stan is a former Eden Marine High School student and Pambula resident who was a finalist in the esteemed Megalo International Print prize in 2020.
Jack Dickenson, president of the the Friends of Eden Killer Whale Museum, said the committee was ecstatic when the work mural titled 'South East of Bimmel' was installed.
"It's great for the town. This is a town where we welcome everyone," he said.
Jack said that particular position was wonderful for the mural as it's visible to the road and a lot of people enter Eden there, stopping to use the facilities.
He said the committee had raised the funds for outreach purposes, having had a lot of help over the years themselves, they sought to make a contribution to others.
"The project has taken longer than planned through a number of unfortunate occurrences, none the least the fires and pandemic," Jack said.
"There are many who have contributed to this outcome. At the top of this list is Stan whose mastery of the art is unquestionable. Thanks a million Stan.
"To those who contributed, we appreciate your support. To Brian Hart who enthusiastically enlarged and produced the copy; Michael and Sylvia of Anderson's Cranes who certainly gave the project a lift; Nev Cowgill and local Scouting; to the Essci lads and our own members well done.
"From me to the Museum Friends... we got there in the finish," Jack said.
The words, 'Welcome to Twofold Bay' will be installed above the mural and there will be an official opening on a date to be announced, to which all will be invited.
