Following the suspension of senior play in 2020 and the unfortunate withdrawal of the junior Tigers from minor league play, both the junior and senior grades have joined forces and are inviting the community to help build a strong launch into the 2021 season.
"It will be a family fun day, all family members and friends and anyone who wants to be involved with the Tigers either playing in administration or volunteering are all invited," a club spokesman said.
The club will host a sausage sizzle and snow cones will be available, while there will also be games and activities on the field and the chance to register for the upcoming season.
The introductory pack that junior players will receive will also be on display with some customised Eden Tigers gear.
The spokesman said players and club officials would be on hand and this was a great opportunity to meet officials as well as some of the club leadership moving forward.
Senior coaching positions have been finalised, but the Tigers are still welcoming junior coaching applicants on the day.
Additionally, budding Indigenous artists are invited to show their hand to help design the club's special Indigenous round jumper.
The spokesman said the forecast was for lovely weather and the Tigers were looking forward to welcoming everyone and kicking the season off strong on Saturday.
