John Hillier's round scored the greatest number of points this year with 45 stableford points. Richard Gilmour ran second with 40 points. Bob Ross got the last ball with 34 points. Hazel Saunders won the Golden Shot.
The scoring also defied the wind on Saturday with Erica Hansen winning on 39 points - two clear of Maree Rankin on 37. For the women balls went to 29. In both A and B grade men's competition there were countbacks. Mark Davidson won A grade on a count-back from Noel Hall. Both on 37 points. Jimmy Chenhall led B grade from Garrick Hale, both on 40.
Experienced golfer Kevin Turnbull won Wednesdays 9 hole comp by putting well. On Friday Mick Rooney was two clear on 19 points. Dad's Army played 12 holes off the yellow tees. Don Russell was the winner followed by Orania Russell.
Saturday is a stableford and Australia Day will be a 4BBB stableford with a shotgun start at 9.30am.
