We have worked and live in Eden since February 2016 after relocating from Newcastle.
What do you like most about your job?
Meeting a wide variety of people, young and old, lots of different nationalities in the travellers. Also creating lots of different things in the park for all our guests... each year they come back looking for new things, kids and adults alike.
What do you like least?
Being away from family and friends, but in saying that, they have a beautiful place to visit when they come to see us. This year has been a bit of a test but we made it through.
What's your favourite place in Eden and/or the Bega Valley?
The beaches here are just amazing and it's easy to see why its call the Sapphire Coast, the colour of the water is beautiful. Whale season is also magical here.
If you won $1miillion what would you do first?
We have everything we need, five healthy kids and 13 healthy grandkids - we think that's as good as winning the lotto. Living and working together 24/7 for the last five years and still loving each other is pretty good, money can't buy that kind of fortune.
One thing you cannot live without?
Each other, family, friends and of course our dog Bear and Beau the macaw. Nice cold beers from the pub are also pretty good.
Three words that describe Eden best?
Beaches, whales, friendly.
What do you think Eden needs the most as a community?
More housing for the less fortunate. We have a lot of people coming to us looking for permanent rentals. Some more work on Lake Curalo would be great, it could be such a wonderful place for water sports if cleaned up.
