A woman has been charged over allegedly driving while under the influence of drugs before crashing into a police car on the Far South Coast earlier this year.

A NSW Police spokesperson said about 1am on Wednesday, July 15, a police vehicle attached to South Coast Police District was travelling north along the Princes Hwy at Broadwater when a Toyota Prado travelling south allegedly lost control and overturned.
The vehicle collided head-on with the police vehicle near the intersection of Hardakers Rd, the spokesperson said.
The Toyota driver, a 42-year-old woman, suffered a laceration to her arm and was taken to Bega's hospital along with two passengers, a 22-year-old man and a four-year-old girl, for observation.
The driver and sole occupant of the police vehicle, a male senior constable, suffered a head injury and was taken to the Bega hospital in a stable condition.
A crime scene was established with officers from the Crash Investigation Unit attending to assist.
After extensive inquiries, investigators issued the 42-year-old woman a Court Attendance Notice on October 14.
The Eden woman was charged with two counts of cause bodily harm by misconduct in charge of motor vehicle, not keep left of dividing line, and drive vehicle under influence of drugs.
She is due to appear in Eden Local Court on Wednesday, December 9.
