The high school appealed to the public for laptops or donations to purchase laptops earlier in the year, to support the learning of their students, in what has been a particularly challenging year.
Mich-Elle Myers, national officer at MUA said the donation originally came from the Norwegian Seafarers Union.
"They gave a substantial amount for schools in bushfire affected areas and we were able to share it out at various schools up and down the coast in NSW, as well as a bit in Victoria," Ms Myers said.
"We thought it was a suitable place for some of the money to go.
"That's the power of global solidarity.
"People all over the world saw the footage of the fires and really wanted to give their assistance.
"The outpouring of money and support for the global union family was just incredible," Ms Myers said.
