Mr Barilaro said thanks to more than $217,000 in government funding the Dalgety community now have a more user friendly pavilion that will benefit them for years to come.
"The Dalgety Show is one of the biggest days on the local calendar and is personally one of my favourite show days in the Monaro. Each year the show welcomes hundreds of visitors from across NSW and Victoria through its gates," Mr Barilaro said.
"The pavilion is at the heart of the Dalgety Show. It is where the community comes together to showcase its hard work including photography, arts and craft, home grown produce, wool, flowers and much more.
"This significant upgrade will make a huge difference to show goers, delivering more user-friendly facilities including include a new roof, kitchen and bathrooms accessible for people living with a disability.
"The upgrade of the pavilion complements the new sheep and poultry pavilions, the new playground and the recently refurbished tennis courts."
Mrs Taylor said the improvements would ensure the show would remain a highlight for both locals and tourists for years to come.
"The Dalgety Show is such a great drawcard to the region and it's fantastic that the local community and visitors alike will now benefit from better, more inclusive facilities."
Snowy Monaro Regional Council mayor Peter Beer said the extensive upgrade to the pavilion will be well used by the local community all year round.
"Well done to the community, contractors and the project team for delivering this terrific facility," he said.
"I'm looking forward to the upcoming Dalgety Show day, when we will see how much of a difference this wonderful new pavilion will make in the community."
