I grew up in Eden and went to school here - after finishing school I completed a mechanical apprenticeship, also in Eden. I left the area for around 12 years and lived in the Northern Territory before returning in 2017.
What do you like most about your job?
I've spent most of my working life on the ocean which I really love. One of the best things about this job is hearing from happy customers who love our awesome mussels which are grown in Twofold Bay.
What do you like least about your job?
The worst thing for me is probably winter, working out in the cold weather, I think living up north for so long has made me a bit soft in the cooler weather.
What's your favourite place in Eden and/or the Bega Valley?
It's hard for me choose just one because there are so many great spots to explore. Just getting outdoors along the coast is always good.
If you won $1miillion what would you do first?
Probably have a few beers I'd say, after that start planning a 12-month round the world adventure.
What is one thing you cannot live without?
I'd probably be in trouble if I didn't say my wife Bonnie, but seriously she is gold and I wouldn't have been able to do half the things I've done without her support.
What are three words that describe Eden best?
Resilient. Unique. Potential.
What do you think Eden needs the most as a community?
Eden and the community have certainly taken plenty of hits this year, but there are also a few good things happening around the town too, It would be great to see things continue to develop and get more support to help Eden realise its true potential.
