From Wednesday, November 4 Pearls Place will begin offering its much-loved weekly lunch.
Pearls Place volunteers will be following their COVID Safe plan, which will include hand sanitation stations, signing in and social distancing protocols.
Committee member Kate Smith said Pearls Place has a COVID plan in place and has taken the necessary steps to ensure the safety of guests and volunteers.
"We are very much looking forward to welcoming back our regulars as we know how much they have missed their weekly contact with the Pearls community," Kate said.
Volunteers are looking forward to welcoming old and new friends for lunch from 12 noon saying everyone is welcome at Pearls Place.
It had been hoped to re-open Pearls Place in July but after a couple of cases emerged in the local health district, the committee decided for the sake of caution and safety to stay closed at that time but now they are looking forward to seeing everyone again.
