Rodney Allen Sargent, 29, appeared via audio visual link in Bega Local Court on August 25.
He admitted to reversing a Mitsubishi Pajero into a police vehicle during a traffic stop near White Rock on August 18, causing minor injuries to two senior constables, before fleeing towards Tathra.
He was arrested in Bega the following morning and charged with using an offensive weapon to prevent his arrest, driving a vehicle while disqualified, reckless driving, aggravated littering, driving an unregistered vehicle, and driving an uninsured vehicle.
Wearing prison greens and sitting with his hands in his lap, Sargent described his criminal record as "pretty disgusting", as his lawyer Adam Linehan requested an adjournment.
"I haven't got a good history," Sargent told the court.
The court also granted a five-year apprehended violence order to Sargent's former girlfriend.
"That's probably for the best. She's too young anyway," Sargent told the court.
When told not to approach her by magistrate Doug Dick, he told the court he had "better things to do".
Sargent will reappear in Bega Local Court via audio visual link on Tuesday, September 15.
