Gerringong's Reuben Garrick played a pivotal role in helping his Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles storm back to defeat the Brisbane Broncos, featuring Moruya's Rhys Kennedy, on Thursday - with the winger adding four goals.
On Friday, Milton-Ulladulla's Jack Murchie recorded his second win in Warriors colours, after New Zealand outscored the Cowboys 37-26 at Central Coast Stadium.
Later that night, Batemans Bay's Brad Arthur and his Parramatta Eels chalked up their fifth straight win to start the season, by fighting back to defeat Penrith 16-10.
The next day, the return from a two-game suspension of Nowra-born Cody Walker acted as the catalyst for South Sydney ending a three-game skid.
The Rabbitohs ran riot against the Titans, coached by former Milton-Ulladulla talent Justin Holbrook, to the tune of 32-12.
At Central Coast Stadium, Bega's Dale Finucane and his Melbourne Storm proved too strong for the Newcastle Knights, coached by former Batemans Bay Tiger Adam O'Brien.
Then on Sunday, the Dragons headlined by Albion Park-Oak Flats' Adam Clune, Shellharbour's Trent Merrin and Pambula's Euan Aitken, broke through for their first win of 2020, by downing the Sharks, featuring Pambula-born Jack Williams, 30-16 in the local derby.
Round five will wrap up on Monday night, when the Roosters, featuring Kiama twins Josh and Brett Morris, lock horns with the Bulldogs - led by Tathra's Adam Elliott.
This fixture was postponed 24 hours after a staff member at Laguna Street Public School in Caringbah, where Bulldogs' Aidan Tolman's child attends, tested positive for COVID-19 last week.
Tolman has been cleared of COVID-19 but won't play against the Roosters, as he begins a quarantine period that could last up to 14 days.
