While Blake William Banner, 19, did not appear in person in Bega Local Court on Wednesday, March 11, Magistrate Doug Dick confirmed he was maintaining his plea of not guilty.
Last year Banner was charged with seven counts of intentionally causing a fire and being reckless to its spread in relation to fires that were allegedly started between Bega and Doctor George Mountain Rd over October and November 2019.
On Wednesday, Magistrate Dick adjourned the matter for a special fixture hearing, also called a formal hearing, over May 27-29.
