With the aim to visit as many fire affected towns in regional Victoria as possible, the crowd will depart from Melbourne headed for Mallacoota for an overnight stay, helping out pupils and students in the town's of Bruthen and Mallacoota along the way.
Organisers will be dropping into Mallacoota P-12 College from 8am on Sunday, a school with 90 students but just two working laptops.
"With such a broad student population and diverse needs, Mallacoota P-12 have asked for 10 laptops that can be utilised both in class and at home to further learning," organisers said.
"We'll stop in local towns along the way before our night in Mallacoota. Having booked out the whole town's accommodation, it's sure to be a huge celebration! But it doesn't stop on day one - the journey home has lots in store too."
