However, we won't take it lying down!
Pambula Business Chamber is collaborating with Pambula Rotary to bring you an event called Share the Love held over the Valentine's weekend, February 14-16.
Pambula is hoping to get a huge crowd to celebrate community resilience and thank all first responders.
"The invitation goes out to all Bega Valley communities - we are all in this together! Let's stand together," chamber president Michelle Pettigrove said.
One of the major events on over the weekend will be the Share the Love Street Party in the main street of Pambula, on Friday from 5-8pm.

There will also be street food, stalls, art, vintage car parade, buskers, late-night-shopping and fabulous restaurants.
The RFS will be leading the car parade through the main street on Friday night - a perfect opportunity to show your appreciation and share the love for the firies.
