The number of homes destroyed across the shire by recent bushfires has risen to over 350, with more properties yet to be assessed by authorities.

With 90 per cent of the existing fire ground from Cobargo to the Victorian border having now been investigated by building impact assessment teams, 367 homes have been confirmed destroyed and a further 98 damaged.
Bega Valley Shire Council also confirmed 876 outbuildings have also been destroyed.
Council has also confirmed a boil water notice also remains in place for Bemboka, Quaama, Cobargo, Bermagui, Beauty Point, Fairhaven, Wallaga Lake, Wallaga Lake Heights, Wallaga Lake Koori Village and Akolele, with water testing continuing daily.
