Investigators from the Rural Crime Prevention Team will visit bushfire-affected towns on the Far South Coast on Thursday, January 9.

Team members will be on hand to provide referral information and support on:
- Immediate survival needs;
- Security against theft/looting;
- Livestock at risk;
- Biosecurity issues;
- Disaster welfare support; and
- Any other issues the community may be facing.
A coffee truck will be at each location and coffee will be provided free of charge.
The community are invited to attend the following locations:
- Bermagui: 9.30am to 10.30am at Dickinson Park on Lamont Street (near the surf life saving club);
- Cobargo: 11am to 12pm at Cobargo Showground on Avernus St;
- Candelo: 1pm to 2pm at Candelo Park on William St (near the tennis court); and
- Wyndham: 3pm to 4pm at Wyndham Park on corner of Gordon and Monaro Streets.
Anyone who cannot attend but would like to get in touch with a rural crime investigator is urged to contact their local police station and other arrangements can be made.
