It's the creative output of many years of cross cultural collaboration between musicians and community in the Kimberley and its touring nationally to major centres.
Awe inspiring footage of the Kimberley landscape and Kimberley artists will be projected onto a large screen, immersing audiences in the spirit of the Kimberley.
Curated by Tura New Music, the highly acclaimed production features The Narli Ensemble (Nar-lee) in a close collaboration between high profile First Nation artists and some of the country's finest instrumentalists including Mark Atkins on didgeridoo virtuoso and vocals and Stephen Pigram (Pigram Brothers) on guitar and vocals.
The line also includes Erkki Veltheim (violin), Stephen Magnusson (guitar), Tristen Parr (cello) Joe Talia (percussion) and Tos Mahoney on flute and Tura Founder and artistic director.
Mr Mahoney said Kimberley Echoes will be a special experience.
"For Kimberley Echoes, the intent is for audiences to experience, through music and image, what the Narli Ensemble artists experience while on country in the Kimberley, collaborating with community," Mahoney said.
Kimberley Echoes is at Four Winds Windsong Pavilion. Gates open at 5.30pm. Doors to venue open 6pm. Show time is 6:30-8pm.
