Andy Gibbs and Tammy Edmonds tackled the 100km event with their hard and consistent training paying off with both shaving almost two hours off their previous times they set last year.
Andy finished 14th overall in 10 hours and 16 minutes, while Tammy finished in 13 hours and 58 minutes.
In the 50km event Glenn Edmonds, Mike Kirwin, Cath Griffin, Lisa Lukassen and Belinda Cardwell posted strong runs, while Michelle van de voort competed well in the 22km event.
All runners reported a challenging but rewarding run on the scenic course.
Other club members have been busy as well with Steve Isles finishing with line honours as first overall in the Round Rotatonga 31km road run in the Cook Islands.
Jody Collins also competed strongly in the same event.
The Sapphire Coast Runners next club event is the Challange the Pinch trail run on the last weekend in October.
Visitors and new members are always welcome with the club taking part in local parkruns in Bega and Merimbula and the group also host or join regular events.
