The ladies and reserve grade contests were among the most exciting with the lead being as slim as a single point, while the teams also traded the front regularly until goals in the dying minutes secured the respective results.
The Merimbula Diggers nearly capped off a miracle finish, leading by three with just four minutes left on the clock, however, the Breakers never quit attacking the ball and were rewarded with a last-minute goal off a series of ball-ins to win by three.
Simiarly, Tathra battled from behind to close the gap to just three points against the Breakers before the northern club rallied in the dying stages to lock in the win.
