Celebrate diversity and multiculturalism at the second Sapphire Coast Multicultural Day at the Wolumla Hall in Wolumla from 10am to 4pm. There will be live entertainment throughout the day including a unique performance from the Japanese taiko drumming group Stonewave Taiko. Bring a plate of food to share and taste all parts of the world.
The Rubens

For the love of live music in support of emerging artists The Rubens announced the inaugural Chucka Bucka's Regional Tour. The young and lively five-piece alternative rock band are on the road touring regional Australia along with some of their favourite emerging artists, Milan Ring and Shady Nasty. After searching for a local band, The Rubens recently announced Batemans Bay's Flat Track Bullies to hit the stage as the opening act at the Moruya Waterfront Hotel Motel. Travel Festival
South Nowra, August 11
Looking for inspiration on your next holiday destination? An expert team supported by Shoalhaven Tourism have put together The My Travel Festival which features local and international tourism operators alongside food vendors serving up international cuisines, immersing potential travellers in culture before their feet have even left the ground. More than 60 international exhibitors have been confirmed. The festival is on at the Shoalhaven City Turf Club from 10am to 2pm.
Hein Cooper

Acoustic sounds, smooth synth, a crisp back-beat and you'll be grooving along in no time. After dropping previous singles "Hear My Voice" and "Over Again" last year, Hein Cooper has returned from writing in British coastal towns, Canadian mountains, and cinematic French chalets releasing his single "Like That" and his second album Underneath It All. Veterans golf
Eurobodalla, August 5-10
If you can't get enough of golf then head to the Veterans Week of Golf Tournament at Batemans Bay and Moruya. Running over four days, the tournament is open to registered veteran golfers. The event is shared across two courses, each offering their own unique challenges to golfers. The Catalina Country Club and Moruya Golf Club are hosting events such as; the Medley 2BBB, Ambrose Medley, Irish Four Ball and two rounds of Individual Stableford for both Men and Ladies. Car and Bike Show
Nelligen, August 3
More than 200 cars and bikes will be on show by the Clyde River at Nelligen. The show starts at 8am with a super cruise to Batemans Bay at 11.30am which loops back to the Steampacket Hotel. Market stalls will be set up at the Nelligen Hall. The Steampacket Hotel will have a jumping castle for the kids and slow smoked meats in the courtyard. Bands start at 12pm till late.
