The program is aimed at improving the wellbeing of people and communities across NSW. The state government funding of $24.4million will be distributed equally across the 93 NSW electorates.
More than 30 community groups across the Bega electorate have thrown their hat in the ring for their piece of the pie, with grants on offer of between $20,000 to $200,000 each.
To be eligible each project must have an approved sponsor who guarantees to support the applicants for project delivery within a 12 month time frame.
Acting Treasurer Damien Tudehope encouraged communities to get involved to support their favourite submissions.

"My Community Project is an innovative program that puts decision-making in the hands of community members," Mr Tudehope said.
"We asked people to think about what their community needs, develop those ideas with a sponsor and then tell us how funding could turn that concept into reality.
"People have put a lot of work into their applications, so I'd encourage everyone to have their say and pick their preferences from the list of projects in their area."
