Currents is back and it's time to get excited! Rock on to four hours of big acts, including Melbourne-based punk rock band Mild Manic and top South Coast bands, Potent Soap and Pretty People. Five high school bands from the Eurobodalla will also battle it out for glory and the chance to record their tune in a professional music studio as part of a song writing competition. Need a lift? There will be free buses to and from Currents from Narooma and Batemans Bay. Bus timetable available online. Currents is an all ages drug and alcohol free event, made possible with the support of Music NSW and Create NSW. Tickets are $15 online or $20 at the door.
Karaoke Championship

Testing, testing, 1, 2 ... are you a karaoke rock star or hoping to become one? Maybe you have a go-to song you bring out at parties, in the shower or while driving the car. Om Sweet Om
Milton, July 6
From 11am, Emily of Om Sweet Om Milton, will lead you through a sequence of poses to help mobilise and release the back. The workshop shows a range of poses that can be used during practice to help take pressure off muscles in the back whilst getting the benefit of a longer sequence. The workshop will involve standing poses, some inversions and a series of chair twists to open up the lower back.
Antiques Fair
Batemans Bay, July 6-7
From dolls, whiskey jugs, coins and jewellery; the Batemans Bay Antiques and Collectibles Fair will have all sorts of small collectibles and antique nick-nacks from a large number of Australia's dealers. Enjoy delicious meals and refreshments while you buy, sell or trade. Located at Hanging Rock Stadium, doors open at 9am.
Tommy Little and Luke McGregor

Two exciting comedians are coming to the Oaklands Events Centre. Tommy Little's comedy bubbles with an irresistible energy - bursting to tell you the next story. He's smart, engaging and can hold a room in the palm of his hand. You may have seen Tommy as host of the Comedy Channel's Who's Line is it Anyway? Or Network Ten's The Project. In 2007, Luke McGregor began a career in comedy in Tasmania when he entered the raw comedy competition after one of the contestants didn't show up.
