Twofold Aboriginal Corporation recently received a cheque for $500 from the Nethercote Seasonal Produce Market committee.

The corporation grows seasonal fruit and vegetables as well as propagating various bush foods.

Food from the garden is distributed to the local community as well as being used by Meals on Wheels whose kitchen is located at the corporation premises.

Nethercote Produce Market donates profits from each market to a local food growing program. Local schools, pre-schools and community gardens have been previous beneficiaries.

The market committee encourage people to nominate potential beneficiaries.

Any type of organisation is eligible as long as the project is a local food growing program.

Funds can be used for infrastructure such as raised garden beds, or for workshops, or for seeds, seedlings and plants including trees.
