After a week off for the Easter weekend, most winter sports resume this weekend with the Whalers to battle the Sea Eagles in both women's and senior fixtures.
Meanwhile, the Eden Tigers have had a late shift to the Tathra ground for three senior games against the Sea Eagles.
In the Aussie rules, the Whalers are looking for redemption on the back of a beating at the hands of the Merimbula Diggers.
Meanwhile, the Sea Eagles are coming in fresh from two weeks' off.
The women's clash will be the bread and butter of round three as the two clubs line up as the strongest contingents in SCAFL since the competition's inception.
The Eden women were handed a shock loss in round two by the Bermagui Breakers and the three-time flag winners will look to make an example of their classic rivals at the Eden Cricket Ground on Saturday.
Tathra have also been threatened, managing a last-quarter draw against a fast and agile Narooma Lions in the second round.
Play for the Whalers on Saturday is from 1.10pm with seniors at 2.30pm.
At George Brown the league is set to be fast and phsyical with Eden showing good signs against the Bega Roosters in their last clash.
Unfortunately, the Roosters proved too good in the second half, but Sunday's game should see a strong contest with both sides fronting up the big men in the middle.
Tathra's outside backs have been largely untested with their new team, so Eden's quicks will be able to put them under the pump.
There will also be the league-tag showdown with Eden still recovering from some nasty injuries in their narrow win over Bega.
The refreshed Tathra Phoenix outfit are coming off a loss, going down 20-10 against the nimble Narooma Devils.
League-tag is set for 12.30pm at the Tathra Beach Country Club ground, with reserves at 1.30pm and first grade from 3pm.
