Next Saturday will be a fun day for mixed and members with a three-person ambrose event at an 11 o'clock shotgun start.
It will be a first-time event with players hitting off the yellow markers and on completion of the game there will be presentations, a barbecue and drinks.
The ladies also enjoyed the ideal conditions on Saturday with 15 players in attendance for a single Stableford off the red tees.
The consistent Judy English again claimed the honours with a very tidy 36 points on a countback from Ros Haenig.
Ball winners were Laura, Julie, Sue and Vicki with the nearest the pins going to Judy and Julie, claiming the 8th and 18th respectively.
Dads Army
The morning bugle call on Sunday mustered up a troop of 16 for the usual single Stableford playing off the back nine.
With the Rabbit Trap on his mind, Dale Boyce displayed concentration to win the nine-hole event with an excellent round of 25 points.
Three shots off the pace was Barry Hughes, the runner-up who also claimed the nearest the pins on the 10th and 18th.
The dreaded Rabbit Trap went to regular Saturday member Ian Smith. No score was available much to his delight.
The troops do it all again next Sunday with members and visitors most welcome.
