In a video post to the Sea Eagles Facebook page, Elliott said he was forever telling teammates he had grown up in the "best town ever".
"I'm super pumped to show the town off," Elliott said.
"My teammates cant wait to see where I come from, it's a massive part of my life."
There is an open invitation for the public to join a Captain's Run at the Tathra Beach Country Club and Elliott said he hoped to see plenty there.
"I can't wait for everyone to come down and hopefully you can come along again on Saturday to cheers us on against the Raiders."
Elliott said the chance to get to play an NRL game in the heart of Group 16 territory is something special for him.
"It's going to be unreal for me, I grew up wishing to play the NRL and playing for Tathra is something I am super proud of," he said.
Both clubs announced their team lists early in the week with Ricky Stuart putting forward his “best 20” for the Raiders, while Bulldogs coach Dean Pay has provided a 30-strong list for the weekend.
Both clubs will be heavily active around the community with open training sessions and some meet and greet opportunities.
"We'll be there for four or five days in camp and we'll spread ourselves around amongst the town and schools," Raiders coach Stuart said.
The Raiders had a training session in Pambula on Wednesday and will hold a second in Bega Friday morning.
“All of our training sessions will be open so we would love to see a lot of kids come out and meet the players,” Stuart said.
Meanwhile, the Bulldogs arrive Thursday and will open with a meet and greet session from 4-6pm at the Pambula Surf Life Saving Club.
They will then have a public captain’s run training session at the Tathra Beach Country Club from 10.30am until 11.30am on Friday. Adam Elliott, Aiden Tolman and Kerrod Holland will also be at Tarra Kia in Bega from 4 to 5pm on Friday.
The ‘Dogs will also get a taste of barefoot bowls Friday night.
Officials said both clubs would try and accommodate photos and autographs.
The NRL trial game will run at 5pm on Saturday at the Bega Recreation Ground.
The Monaro Colts under 16s and under 18s rep outfits will feature in earlier games.
Tickets are still available through local stockists or via the Raiders website at www.raidersshop.com.au.
