The Port Authority Sunset Stage headliners are the Figmentz with support from Mewstone Rock, Melbourne duo the New Savages, Red Heart Blue and the Eden Marine High School Soul Band.
Local favourite Red Heart Blue are pumped to bring classic rock n’ roll covers and originals to the stage on Sunday for the Show n’ Shine exhibition.
“The venue is just amazing, it is going to be four times bigger than when it was down at the wharf,” Corine Masliah of Red Heart Blue said.
“The rock n’ roll set will be a fun one to start the morning off on Sunday.”
It is Red Heart Blue’s third year supporting the Whale Festival alongside a huge line-up of local acts.
“The Whale Festival committee have gone above and beyond this year, they are all local people who have worked so hard to put all of this together,” Ms Masliah said.
The smaller Mitre 10 stage will kick off straight after the street parade at 11.30am.
“The entertainment is running all day, it’s all about our local talent. The Mitre 10 stage will be showcasing all of our talented singers and dancers,” committee member Shannon Woloshyn said.
Pack a chair and a rug, at 9pm on Saturday, the fireworks spectacular will wrap up the evening.
