Come along to spend the morning listening to music, wandering through the market stalls of fresh local produce with food and coffee available.
There will be hand crafted gift, toys, art, handmade knits, leather goods, plants, jewellery and a community BBQ. A kite making workshop from 9am. Market stalls open from 10am – 1pm at Chandos Street Uniting Church Gardens.
Santa paws is coming to town
Con Zurcas of Eden Motor Group presented Kerri Brady, president of the Animal Welfare League Far South Coast with funds to help sponsor their Santa Paws 2018 fundraisers.
The jolly man himself will be visiting to get his picture taken with your pooch at the K9 Country Parlour in Cobargo on Sunday, November 11. On Sunday, November 18, he will visit Merimbula at Coastal Grooming. Cost is $20 and all proceeds go to the Animal Welfare League FSC Branch for desexing and rehoming.
Get Online week
Eden Community Access Centre encourages Eden residents to pop down to the centre and get online this week.
The successful digital inclusion campaign aims to support and encourage people to get online no matter what their confidence level. For more information about Get Online Week events in Eden contact the Access Centre on 6496 3970.
Hooded plover workshops
Birdlife Australia is holding workshops where you can learn more about Australia’s threatened beach-nesting bird species, including the hooded plover. Learn about their amazing behaviours and how to give them a helping hand.
To be held at Miva Miva Hall, Mallacoota District Health and Support Service, in Mallacoota October 27 – 28.

Bringing up Great Kids Program
Far South Coast Family Support Service are offering a free ‘Bringing up great kids parenting program.’ A program that uses ideas of mindfulness and reflection, promotes respectful interactions and encourages the development of your child’s positive self- identity.
