The rain continued across the night and into Wednesday, October 10, providing a welcome respite from the dry weather of the drought.
By 9am on Wednesday, 25mm had fallen on Bega, 15mm in Merimbula and 35mm at Bermagui.
A week ago, there was a lighter sprinkling of rainfall on the Far South Coast.
From October 4-6, 13mm of rain fell in Bega, from October 4-8 there was 6.6mm in Merimbula and from October 4-6 there was 20.8mm in Bermagui.
Weatherzone has forecast up to 5mm of rain on the coming weekend, starting on Friday, October 12.
