Winners of the Guest Review Awards are chosen by Booking.com based on an aggregation of guest feedback on the site, with those receiving an award holding an overall score of 8 out of 10 or higher across a single year.
Reflections Holiday Parks Eden managers Robyn and John Kidd said the South Coast was full of amazing must-visit locations with Eden at the top of their list.
“We returned to the South Coast and took over management of Eden last year because we have always loved this area and are excited to share it with our guests,” Robyn said.
“The South Coast has beautiful beaches, wonderful bushwalks and yes, surprising as it may seem to some, an incredibly temperate climate.
“We are about to embark on implementing some fantastic improvements to the park including new landscaping, cabin refurbishments and a fence around the entire park to add that extra peace of mind. We have already installed a fence around the playground area and new boom gates and we can’t wait to do more to improve our guest experience.”
Eden and Bermagui are no strangers to industry accolades and have been represented as finalists for three years running at the CCIA Awards of Excellence for Best Holiday Park, South Coast (More than 100 sites). Both parks also received Trip Advisor Awards in 2016 for their consistent outstanding reviews made by guests on the website.
Reflections Holiday Parks Bermagui managers Sara Wilson and Tom Starr were thrilled with the positive industry acknowledgement from Booking.com and said their whole team worked hard to ensure guests were looked after.
“Nothing beats guest feedback when it comes to finding out what you are doing right or what you need to improve to make for a better holiday experience,” Sara said.
Sara herself was a finalist for the 2015 CCIA Young Employee of the Year Award and winner in the 2015 South Coast Regional Tourism Awards for the Young Achiever in Tourism.
Reflections Holiday Parks CEO Steve Edmonds said he was proud to see 25 of the group’s coastal parks honoured with this award based on guest satisfaction and thanked the park managers and their teams for their dedication to creating great holiday experiences.
“Listening to and acting upon guest feedback is a priority for all of our parks which are popular holiday destinations within NSW,” Mr Edmonds said.
“We take guest feedback very seriously and I thank everyone at our parks from the managers and front reception right through to the grounds people and housekeeping for their ongoing dedication to customer service which has made these award wins possible.”
