The Eden Visitor Information Centre is holding a photo competition inviting intrepid snappers to submit their photos of Eden for a chance of winning a cash prize and national recognition.
Photos submitted will be considered for inclusion in the 2018 edition of the Eden Visitor Guide.
First prize will receive $100 and have their photo displayed on the front page. Excell printing will also provide a reproduction of the winning image.
“We print 50,000 copies of the guide that are distributed through all areas of New South Wales, Victoria, the ACT and further afield,” visitor information centre manager Deb Richardson said.
“This is a great opportunity to have your photo seen by a wide audience.”
Ms Richardson said that photos need not be limited to landscapes.
“They can show you having fun with friends or family, exploring our National Parks, watching wildlife, casting a line or enjoying our delicious seafood,” she said.
A judges panel will select the winning images.
“Photos will be selected by a combination of audience preference on social media and by the Eden Visitor Information Centre staff and volunteers,” Ms Richardson said.
The competition runs from now until May 20 and entries can be submitted by posting them to the Eden Visitor Centre Facebook page or via email to info@eden.com.au
