There has been a group, Australasia Inc which was set up to do just that. Plans were well underway but new councillors thought their personal political agenda was more important than a long term vision for the town's CBD.

This is mismanagement as its finest. The Australasia in the current state negatively impacts a town that is trying reinvent itself into a tourist destination. If council wants to ensure all layers of government get a return on their $44million investment they need to fix this saga once and for all!

Some of the new equipment they put in recently has already been damaged and/or vandalised. Kids run riot unsupervised all the time.

Good on you for doing this but I hope it brings families together and it doesn’t get damaged. I don’t think toilets are good idea though.
