In 2015 the club was unable to fill committee positions, but Genevieve McGuinness has been working towards getting the club back on its feet.
“We were once a strong club with 144 junior players plus eight women’s teams,” Ms McGuinness said.
“We want to get the club back on track just the way it used to be.”
Eden Netball is looking to fill three positions, vice-president, secretary and treasurer.
Netball development officer for the South Coast Janifer Hutchinson has put her hand up to take on the role as president.
“Janifer and I are both qualified to teach ‘net-set-go’, we both have our NSW coaching accreditation,” Ms McGuinness said.
“We would like to have six-year-olds right through to women.”
For anyone interested in re-establishing netball in Eden, a meeting will be held at 11am at the Eden Recreation Club on Sunday, February 11.
