The event will be emceed by Genevieve McGuiness and the program includes an occasional address and performances by the Eden choir.
Jenny Drenkhahn will also give a reading of Australian verse.
The ceremony will start at 10am and will be held at the town flag mast on the corner of Imlay and Bass streets.
“A flag raising ceremony is an important part of celebrating our national day,” one of the event coordinators Jack Dickenson said.
The museum maintains and changes the flags, and acknowledges the national days of other countries as well.
“We fly flags on national days around the world,” Mr Dickenson said.
The flag mast is also approaching its 25th birthday which makes this year an extra special year for a national flag raising ceremony.
Everyone is invited to head along for a sausage and a sing-a-long. The Eden Service and Social Club (ESCCI) will be cooking sausages for a gold coin donation.
Attendees are advised to bring their own seating.
