I just love them, and there are more than I have ever heard in 30 years.
Amanda Moss
Their numbers have seemingly dwindled from their deafening best in the 70s and 80s and even the 90s. If they're deafening then it sounds like a recovery or maybe it's a cycle.

How about the pronunciation of cicadas? Its been a battle among my lesser educated Victorian family and associates.

No funds for gallery
It's a real shame. Maybe if the BVSC has in place a strategic plan and had already identified the site and what was to be done would have helped. I still think the The Australasia would be a great site for a new gallery at the rear and sympathetic restoration of the front part of the building into a new tourist info centre and cafe would be a good option.

Celebrating volunteers
Congratulations to you all, the backbone, heart and soul of our communities...the people working behind the scenes, that keep the wheels turning. Thank you.
Jodie Dickinson
Congratulations on another year. It is the same in Mallacoota. It is the volunteers of this country that really keep it going. Thank you.
