The group of young ones from South Coast Tiny Tots playgroup are all turning one within five weeks of each other and playgroup coordinator Amy Clark thought a “cake smashing” would be an ideal celebration.
A line-up of colourful cakes created by Jasmin Davis lasted just long enough for a lovely group photo at the Pambula River Mouth before the little ones started the taste testing.
The babies pictured from left to right – from youngest to oldest! – are Josie Flint, Kace Griffin, Kylah Arvidson, Dominic Wells, Willow Goodyer, Brady McDonald, Zain Davis and Jack Cruikshank.
Along with four others who weren’t at the cake smash, the babies have played with each other since birth.
Ms Clark said she started South Coast Tiny Tots after the birth of her third child, Willow, when several friends were also having babies around the same time.
“Once a week we meet for lunch, to visit a park or just play together and the kids love it,” she said.
