There are a number of registered merchandise sites across the Bega Valley.
Daffodils and pens will be available at Eden Coles, as well as Bega Newsagency and Bermagui Woolworths from 9:30am to 2pm.
Pambula will also be awash with fresh daffodils, bears, balls and badges.
You will also find wonderful local volunteers at the Tura Centre and Merimbula’s Market Street between 9am and 4pm.
As always Pambula Public School will have a huge variety of merchandise for sale at the school and for the very first time Merimbula Public School will also be joining in the celebrations.
This year marks 31 years of Daffodil Day in Australia. As one of the largest national fundraising events in the Southern Hemisphere, this year Cancer Council hopes to raise $2.1m in NSW.
“By supporting Daffodil Day, Bega Valley locals contribute to life-saving cancer research, prevention programs, support services and advocacy programs,” said Stephanie Lake, community engagement manager for Cancer Council NSW Southern region.
“Get out there, wear a pin, and give some fresh daffodils to someone you know.”
