The Panthers shored up second place on the senior ladder after comfortably downing the Bermagui Breakers at the Pambula Sporting Complex.
The Panthers were in complete control of the match throughout to win 23-15-153 to 2-4-16.
The dominance from the hosts was so all-encompassing that the Breakers were only able to find two behinds prior to the main break, while conversely, the Panthers had already fired to 74 points.
And it was no singular focus on a dominant forward either for the Panthers, but a concerted team-wide effort with 12 individual goal scorers lining up in front of the big posts.
Adam Nelson and Jake Taylor led the charge with their four goals apiece, but Mitchell Cameron and Johnno Di-Donato were close behind, bagging three each.
With Dylan Cook, Jordan Pilgrim and Kyle Tucker putting in good work, the Panthers were infallible, opening up a rift on the scoreboard with a five-goal third quarter before booting seven in the last period to lock in the huge margin.
Earlier, the reserve grade and women’s sides had also claimed positive results.
The reserve Panthers turned the Sea Eagles away easily, claiming a 11-10-76 to 2-3-15 win.
The Pambula women’s side had a much closer scoreline when they hosted the Bermagui Breakers, but still came away with the biscuits 4-2-26 to 2-6-18.
The Panthers will meet the Eden Whalers in two grades on Saturday.
