Around 10.35pm Friday, June 16, police observed a Holden Rodeo travelling south on Calle Calle St, Eden on the incorrect side of the road.
The vehicle was stopped and the 42-year-old male submitted to a breath test. He was arrested after a positive result and taken to Eden Police Station. He was subsequently charged with mid range PCA and had his licence suspended.
He will appear at Eden Local court after being issued a field court attendance notice.
BEGA
Sometime between 7.30pm Friday, June 16, and 1pm Saturday, June 17, a Nissan Pulsar sedan was broken into in Eden St, Bega.
A silver ladies dress watch, cash, silver ladies bracelet and three silver rings were stolen.
Police are investigating and conducting forensic examinations.
Police remind the public to remove valuables from their vehicles when unattended.
BATEMANS BAY
About 7.30pm on Friday, June 16, Batemans Bay Highway Patrol was conducting speed enforcement checks on the Kings Hwy, Nelligen.
A Holden Clubsport sedan was detected travelling east at excess speed, being 154kmh in a 80kmh zone.
Police stopped the vehicle and the 29-year-old male driver from the ACT was issued an infringement for exceeding the speed limit by more than 45kmh.
His drivers licence was suspended for a period of six months. In addition, the vehicle was confiscated and impounded for a period of three months. The penalty notice is for $2350 plus 6 demerit points.
