Over the past few days council has combined with skating educators, Ownlife to run a bunch of ‘All Aboard Skateboard’ sessions at Bermagui, Bega, Tathra and Pambula, with it all happening in Eden on Thursday, April 20.
The primary focus of these free workshops is to introduce local girls and boys to skateboarding in a safe and supportive environment. The sessions emphasise participation and inclusion, anyone and everyone is invited to take part and will be set up to succeed with all equipment provided.
Ownlife, skateboarding teachers Richard Flude and Rachel Delphin will get people’s blood pumping.
There is no need to book. Potential participants are simply advised to get some friends together and head on down to Eden Skate Park Barclay Street at 10.30am.
