Eden gathers and celebrates life | PHOTOS

Traditional Koori dances were followed by a hip hop workshop as hundreds of people gathered to Celebrate Life in Eden on Saturday.

Celebrate Life in Eden brought together various agencies dedicated to “celebrate the good things in life” including Twofold Aboriginal Corporation, Campbell Page and Eden’s Future’s Project.

The event coincided with a joint open day for the Eden Library, the Access Centre and the Information Centre.

Kids and their parents were treated to a free barbecue and endless entertainment for the youngsters including a jumping castle, face painting, balloon animals, Koori dances, arts and craft, storytime and a free Hip Hop workshop run by Fun Factory’s Cayce Hill.

There were also a myriad of delicious treats on offer thanks to the Eden Public School P&C’s cake stall.
