The Astor arrives early in the morning, on a 35 night cruise around Australia.
She departed from Fremantle and carries 650 passengers plus crew.
You could say Astor’s itinerary is well, cruisy!
It calls into smaller destinations including Kangaroo Is, Port Arthur and Eden, and the emphasis is on taking it easy.
In Eden, Astor passengers are being offered a tour to Canberra as well as to Bega Cheese, Wheelers Oysters and Ben Boyd National Park.
The smaller luxury ship Seabourn Sojourn arrives at 10am and departs at 6pm.
With only 450 passengers plus crew, Seabourn Sojourn will be on day two of a 34 day Round World cruise that boards in Sydney on February 8, before arriving in Eden on February 10 and finishing this leg of the cruise in Hong Kong.
Cruise Eden co-ordinator Gail Ward says anyone who can help with volunteering on the day is most welcome to call her.
“It will literally be all hands on deck! We welcome any help on this special occasion where we will have two cruise ships at anchor in Twofold Bay on the same day,” Mrs Ward said.
Please contact Gail Ward on 64961241 if you can help in anyway.
