Over 12 months of preparation went into the day which turned out to be a hit. Students both past and present attended with friends and family to enjoy the special sesquicentennial celebration.
Acting principal Heather Bell addressed the crowd at the midday assembly. She spoke highly of the school and appreciated the passion and energy from teachers and students calling it “wonderful Wyndham.” She also acknowledged the support from other schools in the area.
Visitors enjoyed the live music, food, stalls and memorabilia of the historic display and took part in witnessing a time capsule that was placed in the park to be opened in 50 years.
