The students joined almost 78,000 others across NSW as they completed their English (standard and advanced) exams – the first of many across the next month.
Brooke Rogers said completing a series of trial exams had definitely settled the nerves ahead of the real thing.
“I didn’t feel as panicked heading into the English exam as I did in the trials,” she said.
Katelyn McCarron and Taylah Bennett agreed, saying the preparation felt like it paid off.
The trio will continue to study hard before their respective end-of-year holidays to Cairns, Bali and a cruise!
