Martin, best known for his work with Channel 9, was spotted by Eden’s Joanne Korner on Sunday night snapping the sunset.
“He was climbing over fences and everything,” Ms Korner said.
“He gave me a camera lesson and told me he once thought about moving to Eden.”
Ms Korner educated Martin about the barge in the a bay and the booming cruise ship industry.
Martin was travelling south along the Sapphire Coast after he paid a visit to O’Briens Hotel in Narooma on Friday night.
Publican Paul O’Brien said the visit was a total surprise, although Martin does apparently have family in the region and was there for family and work reasons.
“He stopped in for some of our great oysters and tooth-cracking cold beer,” Mr O’Brien said.
He was also spotted at Bega’s Grand Hotel on Saturday night.
