Ducks, Nintendo characters and zombies were just some of the characters roaming the school grounds during a day of wellbeing activities.
Acting principal Leesa Wungluck said the PBL day focused on looking after one’s self.
“We addressed that continuum of stress and what causes it, like eating, sleeping and exercising,” Ms Wungluck said.
“Today we’re opening up the conversation regarding resilience.”
It is the fourth year the high school has held a PBL day that celebrates one of its core values – respect, responsibility and resilience.
Students took part in personal training, meditation, yoga, boxing, dancing and mindfulness workshops among other activities.
PBL coordinator Joe Hill said wellbeing and mental health were big issues among young people.
“The focus of the day is to point kids in the right direction and get support where they need it,” Mr Hill said.
“It’s about starting the conversation and promoting the ideas to help people.”
Ms Wungluck praised the “amazing” Mr Hill for his planning and organisation, as well as the school community for fully embracing the fun of the day.
