Held for the first time last year, the Reaching Out Foundation’s big fundraiser encouraged Sapphire Coast residents to trawl though local op shops for their outfits on the night.
Organised to coincide with National Op Shop week, the event will include a fashion parade, with models showcasing some of the fantastic (wearable) outfits available from the Pambula Op Shop, Merimbula Salvos and Vinnies and the Tura Beach Op Shop.
While the models will be strutting their stuff in clothes suitable for everyday wear as well as a night out, guests are encouraged to go wild with their outfit choice.
The theme for this years event is anything animal, so grab your pre-loved animal print, faux fur or vintage outfit for a chance to win some fantastic prizes.
This is your chance to get in touch with your wild side, while also helping to combat homelessness in the local area with proceeds going to the Reaching Out Foundation.
Organiser Danielle Collins said last year’s event completely sold out and she’s confident it will sell out again.
“This is such a fun night and we really want people to go all out for the theme, the crazier the better...and grab your tickets early,” she said.
To add to the fun, two foxy ladies (who wish to remain annonymous) will be travelling up from their home in Melbourne to entertain as special guests.
The fundraiser is on Friday, September 1 at the Lakeview Hotel at 6pm. Tickets are available at the Lakeview Hotel for $30.
